With the tiny house movement, you can “test drive” a tiny house but still have everything you could need in place and at the ready.
Go back in time (just for a visit) to the way things were. If you’ve ever spent time in a true mountain cabin, you’ll feel right at home at Summer of ’42 Cabin. The interior is charming, warm and inviting and the exterior has the perfect setting with pasture, meadow, woods and privacy.
“Deer Meadow” is next door and you’re almost guaranteed a show each evening. Doe’s with their new born fawns and the occasional buck wander across the meadow and graze. We supply the perfect vantage point from the covered deck with porch chairs or go inside to the “sun/family” room with a wall of windows overlooking the meadow.
Even with all the old-world charm we’ve managed to include the best of the 21st century. High speed internet and satellite TV along with central heat and air
The home has one bedroom and one bath but in addition, there is a sleeping porch with a gathering area good for reading, TV, iPad, and of course, watching the deer.
Located on the south side of Franklin the access is extremely easy and paved right up to the driveway..
